I just completed my preliminary task of making a magazine cover, again it was only a simple design and hopefully my final piece will be a lot more impressive. To complete this task I had to create the cover on my own using, "Indesign" so obviously I struggled with some aspects of the program. Using the effects and colouring tools proved tricky because of the many different variations.
For my actual magazine piece I would prefer to have a better picture, possibly with professional lighting. I would also like to use, "Photoshop" for my final piece so that I may edit and/or cut out my model then place him/her on a separate background, it would also allow me to edit the colouring of my picture. The graphics and fonts are also an issue I would like to improve upon because they weren't too clear or imaginative and exciting although I did think they fir the, "mood" of the magazine.
